This application to become a Volunteer Crisis Supporter with Lifeline allows you to express your interest in joining our organisation and supporting those in our community who reach out to 13 11 14 crisis support line. We look forward to supporting you throughout this journey, which makes sure you are prepared for the commitment and that you understand what is involved in this important role.
The Application Process:
- Please read the information provided on the requirements and process to become an Accredited Crisis Supporter. To help you decide if this is the right volunteer role for you, we recommend watching an information session prior to applying>> Information Session
- Submit your application of interest to join a volunteer training group
- If your application is successful, we will reach out and set up a time for interview
- Those sucessful after interview will be offered a place in one of our training groups*. You will have the option to choose your preferred training dates from what is available. Your journey to becoming a Crisis Supporter begins!
*The cost to enrol in Stage 1 - Crisis Supporter Worker Training is $550. Payment of $175 is due on selection of your preferred training dates, and the remaining $375 is due before Topic 5.
