About the Position

Based at the Goonellabah Warehouse, this permanent full-time van driver and warehouse position will work across the Northern Rivers Area to support Lifeline’s retail operations through the safe and efficient collection and delivery of furniture.  As an LLD van driver, you will be a face of Lifeline in the community and providing great customer service to both internal and external customers by delivering safe and timely collection and delivery of donations including furniture.  

You will take a proactive, safety-focused approach to the loading, securing, storage, and unloading of goods, ensuring all tasks are carried out in a way that does not pose a risk to people or property. Deliveries to shops will be made with minimal disruption to staff and customers, and you’ll respond to donation enquiries promptly and courteously. You’ll plan collections and deliveries to maximise efficiency and work closely with the Northern Rivers Area Manager to ensure the van is well-maintained. You’ll be joining a supportive team with a strong, collaborative culture.

About you 

You will hold a current Driver's Licence, safe driving record and demonstrated experience driving a light truck or van. You will be able to physically meet the demands of the position and have a true customer service focus. You will be able to work unsupervised as well as part of the greater Retail Team with the ability to work safely and productively. Responsible for the collection and distribution of donations, along with general warehouse duties. Maintaining a safe workplace environment.
